Milestone sessions are undeniably one of my ABSOLUTE favorite things EVER! I am an absolute firm in- home session believer ya’ll! For a couple of reasons….. but mostly because there is something about being in your own home, that just makes things more meaningful. It doesn’t matter if it’s not your “forever home,” it’s still something that you have built and made into your home, and there will be everlasting memories made there, so documenting that is always so special.

There is ALSO something SO, SO special about a 3 month milestone session, that I feel like is WAY underutilized! YES, newborn sessions are beautiful, and wonderful, and All. The. Things… but SO is 3 months ya’ll! It’s literally one of my favorite ages. Gone is the super sleepy newborn phase. It’s a time where your sweet babe is literally “waking up,” for lack of a better term, and soaking in the world!

It’s a time when they are getting to study and learn EVERYTHING. The look of intensity they have as they are memorizing the face that they have learned to love from the very beginning, when all they knew was the sound of your heartbeat. Then, your smell, that is unique and perfectly mommy, and now the face that will be the fixer of all wrongs. The face of peace, that is their ultimate comfort….. Sorry ya’ll Imma step OFF my soap box now, lol! I could talk on it all day because this 3 month milestone session embodied all the amazing things that are 3 months!

3 Month Session with Baby Bowman

This sweet baby boy was everything you think of, when you think of a perfect baby boy. He had the most gorgeous head of thick hair ya’ll, and his smile when he saw his momma just lit up the whole room! I was greeted by Bowman’s momma Ashlynn, and grandmomma Babbi, and I instantly felt like I had known them forever! They are the sweetest family, and had SO much fun getting to know them during our session!

Every family dreams of having a grandmomma like Babbi to ya’ll! She was so sweet and loving with precious Bowman. You can see how much he loves her, and already loves being spoiled to pieces by her!
