As a newborn photographer in Birmingham, Alabama, I have the privilege of capturing the most precious moments in a family’s life. Recently, I had the honor of photographing the Yonke Family as they welcomed their sweet baby girl, Ella Jo, into the world. What struck me most about the Yonke family was the natural bond they shared. They were so attuned to each other’s needs, and their love for their new baby girl, Ella Jo, was evident in every interaction. This family’s palpable love and connection was definitely the highlight of this stunning session.

As a mom of 3, and a former labor and delivery nurse, I truly understand how important it is to capture the essence of each family and what makes them uniquely perfect. These first few days and weeks with a newborn are fleeting, and it’s an honor to be able to freeze these moments in time. Whether it’s a smile, a laugh, or a quiet moment of bonding, those are the moments that will be cherished for years.
