This year, we’re welcoming families to our beautiful white reindeer stable at an exclusive private property near Highway 280, where Christmas wishes, genuine giggles, and a little bit of reindeer mischief are all part of the experience!

This year, our Christmas Experiences are taking place at an exclusive private property near Highway 280 in the Birmingham, Alabama area, featuring our charming white reindeer stable!
We’ve created a beautiful, festive setting where the focus is on the little moments that make Christmas so special. The excitement of seeing Santa, the sweetest conversations with Mrs. C, and those wide-eyed expressions when your little ones realize Burt the Reindeer is actually RIGHT THERE!
And while the setting is pretty darn magical, the real magic has always been in the moments we get to capture.
The smiles. The snuggles. The whispered Christmas wishes.
The kind of memories you’ll want to hold onto long after those little hands aren’t quite so little anymore.
The ONE and ONLY Burt the Reindeer…
Oh, Burt. ππ¦
If you’ve been around 5U Photography for a while, you already know that this pint-sized little guy has a personality about ten times his size!
He’s sweet, loving, just a TAD mischievous, and one of the biggest reasons our Christmas mini sessions have become such a special tradition for so many Birmingham-area families.
But what really makes Burt magical isn’t just how ridiculously adorable he is.
It’s the way children’s faces light up when they meet him.
The giggles when he decides he needs a little extra attention. The little hands reaching out to pet him. The wonder of meeting a REAL reindeer!
And Burt has a VERY important secret to shareβ¦
You see, Santa sends Burt on a special mission every Christmas season. His job is to collect all those Christmas wishes and deliver them safely back to the North Pole!
So when your little one comes to visit, make sure they whisper their Christmas wishes into Burt’s ear.
He takes his job VERY seriously. Wellβ¦ most of the time. π

That’s right, friends! Santa and his better half, the one and only Mrs. C, are joining us again for our 2026 Christmas Experiences!
And let me tell you, these two are the REAL deal.
Santa has a way of making every child feel like they’re the most important little person in the world. Whether they’re sharing their carefully thought-out Christmas lists or just taking it all in with those big, wide eyes, the moments are absolutely priceless.
And Mrs. C? Oh, she is something SPECIAL.
She’s been known to dance, twirl, giggle, and make even the most hesitant little ones feel right at home.
Sometimes it takes a few minutes for a child to warm up to Santa, and that’s perfectly okay! Mrs. C has the sweetest way of easing those nerves and helping everyone settle into the magic.
There’s no need for perfectly rehearsed smiles or stiff poses.
Some of my very favorite photographs happen when your little ones forget the camera is even there!
And of course, Burt will be close by, supervising the whole operation and probably looking for an extra snack. ππ¦
Because around here, Christmas pictures aren’t JUST about the pictures.
They’re about the experience. The traditions. And making memories that feel every bit as magical as Christmas morning.

Do I Need to Bring Anything to My Session?
Just bring your sweet family and those Christmas smiles! π€
Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email, followed by additional session details and a reminder as your date approaches.
We’ll take care of the Christmas magic! You just show up ready to enjoy it!
Can I Pet Burt the Reindeer?
ABSOLUTELY!! π¦
Burt LOVES attention, and getting to interact with him is one of the sweetest parts of our Christmas Experiences!
We’ll guide your little ones throughout the session to make sure everyone, including Burt, is happy and comfortable.
And rumor has it his nose smells a little like peppermints. π
Even I like to sneak in some mama snuggles with my boy between sessions…
Can I get family pictures, or is it just for little ones?
The WHOLE family is welcome, and I absolutely encourage parents to jump into a few pictures!
These aren’t just memories for your children. They’re memories WITH your children, and those are the ones you’ll treasure for years to come.
Plus, they make the most adorable Christmas cards!
Santa and Burt participation will depend on the experience you’ve booked, but don’t be afraid to jump into the magic with your little ones!
What’s Included in Each Christmas Mini Session?
Each of our Christmas Experiences includes a little holiday magic, time with Burt the Reindeer, and a selection of professionally edited digital images!
Depending on the experience you choose, your session may also include a visit with Santa and Mrs. C!
Because our Christmas Experiences have different inclusions, you’ll find all the details for your selected session, including digital image quantities and current package information, right in our online booking system.
And of course, you’ll have the opportunity to view your images in a private online gallery following your session!
Will I have the option to add on time to my session?
Our Christmas Experiences are mini sessions, and because they’re scheduled back-to-back, we’re unable to extend individual appointment times.
If you’re hoping for a little extra time, you’re always welcome to book two consecutive sessions, provided both times are available!
Just make sure to reserve both appointments through our online booking system.
